Stella lives in an apartmentwith her controlling husband Stanley, when Blanche sees the apartmentwhich she waistcloth she cannot believe her sister lives in such a place.Blanche and Stella greet individually with passion but before long Blanchebecomes irritable. While she is there Stanley comeshome, he gives Blanche a frank stare and they have an awkwardconversation, we find out Blanche had a husband who died when theywere both rattling young. Stanle y is common and rough compared to Blanchewho is delicate. Stanley is a very sexual man and sex is part of whatmakes him tick. His appraisal of women is frank and straightforward.It becomes unambiguous that the sexual bond between Stanley and Stella isintense, and that this is what keeps their kinship going.
